Union Sacre Pinot Gris

Union Sacré Winery is a boutique winery located in Paso Robles, California, founded in 2013 by two childhood friends. The winery specializes in Rhône-style wines, particularly blends featuring Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grapes, but also produces other varietals such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Muscat Ottonel. Their small-batch wines are typically unfiltered and unfined, resulting in a natural and authentic expression of the grapes.

This Pinot Gris exhibits a light to medium body and refreshing acidity. On the nose, the wine offers aromas of ripe pear, white peach, and apricot, with some floral and spice notes. On the palate, flavors of ripe pear, apple, and stone fruit are often present, with a hint of honey and nutmeg. The texture is smooth and creamy that gives it a satisfying mouthfeel. The finish is clean and refreshing, with a pleasant aftertaste that lingers on the palate.
